Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 April 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Streamtidy, an independent web service operated by Davydd Kelly from Brisbane, Australia. By signing in to Streamtidy with your Google account, you agree to these terms.
2. What Streamtidy does
Streamtidy connects to your YouTube account via the YouTube Data API and uses AI analysis to generate recommendations for cleaning up your subscriptions and playlists. All cleanup actions require your explicit confirmation. Nothing is changed in your YouTube account without your consent.
3. Beta status
Streamtidy is in private beta while Google reviews the OAuth integration for verification. During this period, access is granted on an invite basis. The service is provided as-is, may experience downtime, and may change without notice. Features may be added, removed, or modified.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the actions you take using Streamtidy. Streamtidy executes unsubscribe and cleanup actions only when you explicitly confirm them. Once an action is confirmed, the change is reflected in your YouTube account directly and Streamtidy cannot reverse it. Take care when confirming bulk actions.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Streamtidy to:
- Access another person's YouTube account without their authorisation
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service
- Use the service in any way that violates Google's YouTube Terms of Service or YouTube API Services Terms
- Use the service to violate any applicable law
6. Third-party services
Streamtidy integrates with Google (YouTube Data API), Anthropic (Claude API), Supabase (storage), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of Streamtidy is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers, which are independent of Streamtidy.
7. AI-generated recommendations
Streamtidy's cleanup recommendations are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate. They are recommendations only, not instructions. You retain full control over which channels to keep, unsubscribe from, or flag. Streamtidy is not responsible for the consequences of cleanup actions you confirm.
8. Termination
You can stop using Streamtidy at any time by signing out and revoking access via your Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions). Streamtidy may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these terms or whose use poses a risk to the service or other users.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Streamtidy is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Streamtidy. The operator's total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service, which during the beta period is zero.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as Streamtidy evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
