1. Who runs Streamtidy
Streamtidy is operated by Davydd Kelly, an independent product practitioner based in Brisbane, Australia. Contact: kellydavydd@gmail.com.
2. What Streamtidy collects
When you sign in with Google, Streamtidy receives the following from the YouTube Data API:
- Your YouTube channel ID and basic profile information
- Your list of YouTube subscriptions
- Your YouTube playlists and playlist contents
- Channel metadata for the channels you subscribe to (upload frequency, last activity, subscriber counts)
Streamtidy does not collect, store, or transmit your YouTube watch history, search history, or any video content.
3. How Streamtidy uses your data
Your subscription and playlist data is used solely to provide the cleanup analysis you've requested. Specifically:
- To display your subscriptions and playlists in the Streamtidy interface
- To analyse subscription patterns and generate cleanup recommendations using the Anthropic Claude API
- To execute unsubscribe or cleanup actions, only when you explicitly confirm them
Streamtidy does not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Third parties involved
Streamtidy passes channel metadata (channel name, subscriber count, upload frequency, last upload date) to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. This data is sent for the duration of the analysis only and is not retained by Anthropic for training. Anthropic's privacy practices are documented at anthropic.com/privacy.
Streamtidy uses Supabase for encrypted storage of authentication tokens and cached channel metadata, and Vercel for hosting. Both providers act as data processors only.
5. How long data is kept
Authentication tokens are stored encrypted in Supabase and remain active until you sign out or revoke access via your Google Account settings. Cached channel metadata is held for up to seven days and refreshed thereafter. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing kellydavydd@gmail.com.
6. Your rights
You can revoke Streamtidy's access to your YouTube account at any time via your Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions). You can also request a copy of all data Streamtidy holds about you, or request its deletion, by emailing kellydavydd@gmail.com.
7. Security
Authentication tokens are encrypted at rest. All connections between Streamtidy and Google, Anthropic, and Supabase are encrypted in transit. Streamtidy does not store your Google password.
8. Children
Streamtidy is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Streamtidy evolves. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email.
10. Contact
